Finally, The Locust Mountain Boys  are scheduled to  start our third cd on May 16th and 17th in Cana Virginia at Eastwood Studios. We hope to have the cd recorded and published  by July. We have worked real hard during  the off season on new material for our shows and the new cd project as well. We hope everyone had enjoyable holidays and you are ready for another fun filled season of pickin and bluegrass fun.

Our guitar player's son Jeremiah Downey and his wife Sara are being deployed to Iraq April 30, 2008. On behalf of the Downey Family and Locust Mountain Boys, we wish them Godspeed and a safe journey home. Also we wish to thank them for protecting our freedoms and allowing us the freedom to play the music we love.
